I wanted to see this band so bad while I was living in Vancouver. Thank god they made a stop in Las Vegas in 2010. They just released, With Love, in late 2009. Shortly after their tour, they kind of disbanded, but later a couple members would form Jr. Worship. Four dudes with lots of gear and loud noise.

DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, when i lost my bet
Music video for the track, When I Lost my Bet, from Dillinger Escape Plan. The new album, One of Us is the Killer, drops next month. This song is intense and so is the video. I'm still trying to figure it out...

STOLAS, medusa
This is the music video from Stolas, who released their debut record, Living Creatures, last month through Blue Swan Records. The album is amazing. The video is tight, artwork is awesome and it even has lyrics to sing along to. The song is titled, Medusa, and features Kurt Travis. Visuals are a trip. Pick up this record. Now.

SENSES FAIL, mi amor
The new album from Senses Fail, Renacer, is definitely one of my favorites of 2013 so far. The album is all sorts of heavy and includes the best opening track in the Senses Fail discography (the title track, Renacer). Digging this track, Mi Amor. Watch it. And then watch it again and again and again...

STRFKR, beach monster
Recently picked up STRFKR's new album, Miracle Mile, from Polyvinyl. They have a knack of writing really deliciously flavored pop tunes layered with mass effects and flawless vocals. Their Reptilians record is fantastic too, Bury Us Alive, is such a tight track.
I use to see local show flyers with STRFKR on the bill during my time in the pacific northwest. The show would be on a working night for me a majority of the time though. Nice to see they're doing good for themselves. Their new video for the track, Beach Monster, is pretty off-key, once you're toward the ending though. Creepy video, delightful tune.

THE ACTION DESIGN, landmines
Super glad this band happened, but I never had the chance to see them live. Thank god Zia records had a copy of their full length, Never Say. This song is sooo good. For real.
